Have you ever found something nasty in your food?

I have just had the worst food experience of my life

Munching away on a steak and kidney pie and i nearly broke my tooth on a bit of grit about 10mm X 5mm.

I couldn't figure out how it had got into my pie!

Then hubby pointed out that maybe it was a kidney stone

I'm not squeemish but the thought of having a kidney stone in my mouth has put me off kidney anything for life! I feel physically sick.

Anyone else found something nasty in their food or worst in their mouth?

i was half way down a tub of icecream last week when i found something chewy in my mouth ...can only describe it as looking like dry thumb skin!! was so upset i threw my icecream away

I have when I was about 14 .. Was a slushie and it wasn't until Id got to the bottom of the carton that I noticed there was an earwig in the bottom of the cup, makes me cringe even thinking about it now 17 years later.

my parents grow loads of stuff - so often I've bitten into fruit and veg or got half way through a salad and found a caterpillar or a bug of some sort

Mmmm yes that happened to me in a restaurant. I had eaten most of my dinner and found half a caterpillar!!! Eeww!

Lol! I've never had any problems like that with food. Other than having prawns a few years ago and biting into one that was still half covered in it's shell! I cringe every time I think about it! x x

Definitely losing my appetite! Lol. I think the worst thing for me (dead animals/insects etc aside) is finding a hair in my food. Especially if I don't actually find it til I'm chewing. Uggghhhh!!! x x
