Has anyone ever had a false negative with a ClearBlue?

As title?

I used the CB test about 2 days ago and the BFN came up within seconds. (Sister says this happened to her before she did another test the next week and it was BFP.) Was soooo sure I could VERY faintly see a line but after 20 mins, gave up and chucked it.

Anyone?

I had two with clear blue digital tests. One I got two days before AF was due and the other I got the day af was due. I used fmu both times. The same day af was due, and I got bfn with the clear blue digital, I did a first response test and got a really dark positive and here I am 36 weeks later! x

I haven't used the Digi ones yet, purely because I really, really am terrified of seeing a BFN where I would hope to see "1-2 weeks" etc.

I still have the other test from CB but DH and I decided we'd wait another week or 2.

when is af due hun? i've always got BFNs til she was a week late!

I havnt experianced this hun as i used a cbd a week after my af was due but you may have tested to early hun, it might be worth waiting a few days and try again. Goodluck and fingers crossed you get a bfp x x

Well this is the 6th week I'm late now. Tested at the beginning of the week with the ClearBlue and as I said, within seconds, it was a negative. This was NOT FMU, done in the evening and I had been drinking (not alcohol LOL) throughout the day. Will try and get a piccie of the veins as I'm v. new to this and really do not want to jump to conclusions which is SO hard to resist lol.
