Hard poo :-(

My poor LO has really hard pebble poos
Im giving her water as well as formula (when she takes it ), is there anything else I could do? Its really upset me as shes straining to go
And how long should I leave it before informing a doctor or someone?

Hi my doctor toldme to make his feed like 5onz but with only 4 scoups of milk in so there getting the same amount of food but more liquid.
i think you should try getting more fluid in her today and if no better see doctor tomorrow but i dont know what they would give her tho

Hi, when Dylan had this my midwife suggested putting a tiny drop of fresh orange juice in his bottle with normal cool boiled water. This did the trick for him.

Ive just changed her formula from Sma to Aptamil as Ive read so much about Sma making babies bunged up. Hopefully we will have some success
Shes just guzzled a whole bottle of it (something she never did with Sma) although did promptly exorcist stylee vomit it across the room

She hasnt pooed yet today so will leave till tomorrow then ring MW

I was going to suggest switching to aptamil but you beat me to it! It is the only formula that doesn't upset Rudy lus the nappies are much better on Aptamil than any of the others we have tried.

Congratulations on becomig a Mammy! I'm pretty rubbish at keeping up with things on here at the moment so missed it!
