hard belly?

hi all, hope ur doing ok, this trimester i feel so much better although running around after my 1 yr old is exhausting, just have a wee question.

this doesnt happen every day jus every few days, my belly all of a sudden goes rock hard and is very uncomfortable i cant move no pain just discomfort, lasts couple of mins and is fine cant remember this happening until 36 wks pregnant with my 1st, is this normal? what is it?

any advice welcome thanks.

Could it be Braxton Hicks contractions? I haven't experienced these myself but have read it makes your stomach go hard?
