And it went really well. To start with there was a talk with a power point about general stuff but because the match was on we were the only couple there! (that's why I married my hubby coz he's not into football)
then the midwife took me for a tour around the ward where you have the baby (the rooms were fab! All individual with ensuite bathrooms and sofas for the dads if they want to stay over). Then she took my blood some urine and filled in a long form. I had loads of chance to ask all my silly questions and I feel so much better.
I'm starting to feel pregnant - it's really happening and I'm sooo excited. And she gave me a bag with loads of leaflets and a pregnancy book.
She is going to try and book my first scan for before I go to Mexico so I'll be mire reassured. The midwife was very down to earth and patient.
