Had HSG and now Ultrasound.. Is this normal?

Hello all

Hope you are all doing ok..

I had my HSG on the 31st October, was no where near as bad as I thought it would be but did get cramping after..

This morning (14th Nov) I've had a letter inviting me for a Ultrasound on my lower pelvis area... I didn't even no I had to have this, so I called the switchboard and asked who had requested this and she said it was routine after the HSG.. This has worried me.. Have any of you lovely ladies been in this situation?

When I had the HSG the doctor said it had gone like clock work but I cant help but worry that something must have come up.. Am I being paranoid?

I didn't have an ultrasound after the HSG, I had one before. Pelvic scans are routine if being investigated for fertility issues, I have had a few now so try not to worry too much. Have you got an appointment with the consultant to discuss the findings of the HSG. I was told mine all went fine but that they had to look closely at the images and that the consultant would discuss everything with me x

No not yet out next appointment Is the 10th January but when we last saw her she said she'd be requesting tests.. Thank you xx

Its probably just part of the tests shes requested then. Loads of luck, its great that the HSG went well, sometimes people are more fertile after so hopefully you will get a BFP soon xx

I had my ultrasound ages before my hsg too so just one if the routine tests for the ladies. Had my hsg on Tuesday and wasn't as bad as I imagined either xx
