I went for my 'proper' booking in appointment with the Dr yesterday as we couldn't speak properly at the first appointment cos Lennon was with me and I don't want him to know yet.
Anyway, she took my blood pressure, weighed me, listened to my heart etc and gave me my maternity book. She told me that all my bloods had come back fine and I haven't got HIV..phew! She has now reffered me to the obs and mw so hopefully I should hear from them soon.
She was saying that the obs I will be seeing can now offer a nuchal fold scan at 12 weeks if I want it. I was quite interested until she told me it would cost £300!!!
So think I can safely say, we will not be having that! But I will still have free blood screening at 15 weeks with the mw.
