I have just had a really lovely bath. I used expensive spa bubble bath, used a face treatment and ate chocolate..yummy, all sounds quite tasteful until I mention the 'Take A Break' mag I read in there!

Take a Break is my dirty little secret ...all my friends would scoff if they knew...only Cosmo and OK for that lot. I could never admit it to them...but I love it!

My other vice is Animal Crossing on my pink DS lite....I wouldn't have been embarrassed until 3 of the 11 year old girls that I teach also said they had a pink DS lite and play Animal Crossing!!

It made me think this might make an interesting thread...what things do you do/like that you wouldn't admit readily to your mates for fear of looking like a saddo?

Most of my friends were shocked/embarrassed when I became heavily involved with a car club. They thought those sorts of things were for sad middle-aged men or boy racers

Great idea for a thread!

My guilty pleasures are:-

*cream teas (my friends laughed at this one, then took me for one for my birthday this year, so obviously came round to the idea!)
* the amount of CR*P tv I watch (Hollyoaks, Corrie, Living TV2 - Preg & Birth The Truth, Student Midwives, Baby Birth Days, Portland Babies - etc etc)
* The amount of ice lollies I'm really eating at the moment!

I'm sure I'll think of more...

Some pretty bad TV there Valentine!!! I absolutely never ever watch Diagnosis Murder when I am not at work...EVER!

I had to sell my Sims 2 game (ebay!) as I would just do nothing else all day. Being a SAHW it became addictive and DH would moan that things were not getting done in the house so sold that - made just about what I bought it for actually.

* Coco-pops for breakfast
* Love desperate housewives (quite sad really since some of the story lines are becoming a tad too far fetched to be believed!)
* The amount of both pink and blue clothing I've bought with intentions of taking the "wrong" gender coloured stuff back after my scan on Wednesday
* I love childrens sweets (refreshers, drumstick lollies, buttons etc) at my age I should like the more sophisticated bars really!!

There are perhaps more but those are the instantly springing to mind ones!

i'm a complete petrol head, like taking engines to peices and rebuilding cars, i've also been taking lapdancing lessons for the past few months...neither of which i'm ashamed of...hang on i have no shame!

Yes it's Sims2 for me too, nothing geeky about it at all
Though I did get a DS for Christmas too, and so that took over a bit, and I don't mind telling people, I'm not ashamed

You can go to lapdancing lessons? Are they private or like a class? Ive always fancied doing something like that to get some confidence back, although only my OH would see the fruits of my labour

dont know of whats in your area but i go to group classes 8-10 people...its more exotic dancing, like parisian floorshow stuff mixed with proper lap. A mixture of dance/yoga/areobics getting me really fit....doing press ups in six inch spike heels !

She also does private lessons but only runs classes in Scotland and London at the mo..

Its a total hoot tho!

my guilty pleasure is football. my friends all moan about the men watchin the footie but i quite like cuddling on the sofa with my OH and a can of lager watchin the footie. they always ask me if i want to go for a girly drink when footie is on so i av to lie and pretend im cleanin. xxxxxx
