Growth scan tomorrow for big baby

Tomorrow I have a growth scan to check the size of the baby as 2 weeks ago, at another scan they estimated his weight at 7lbs 13ozs, so in 2 weeks I guess he will have put on around a pound.

I do wonder what they'll say.

I also have a glucose tolerance test. I had one at 28 weeks which came back negative, so interesting to see if I've got it later on.

I had my GTT this morning and will get the results tomorrow.

For my growth scan, the growth looked ok. Two weeks ago they were worried because the abdominal circumferance looked like it had grown abnormally fast. Today everything looked back to normal and they think the odd reading was a blip.

They couldn't measure the head because its too far down.

The baby is now an estimated weight of 8lb 3 ozs.

I've been booked for another scan on Dec 23rd (I'm due Dec 21st).

I was sent for a groowth scan at 37 weeks and told baby was 7lb 1 oz at that point so to expect a 8 - 8.5 lb baby if I went full term

Poppy was born t 39+4 and weighed 6lb 10.5oz

Goodness knows how they worked out she was 7lbs!!!!!

This is interesting because at the hospital yesterday it was also commented that I don't "look" that big.

Big or a bit smaller, I just hope for a healthy birth and baby.
