Had my second growth scan today at 35+1 - baby is consistently following the 10th centile curve which is good as it shows consistent growth but the sonographer has said expect a smaller baby than the others (who were 7lbs 7oz and 7lbs 9oz).

Hoping the growth continues on the curve now as I'm freaked they'll try and bring me in for induction at 38w... Has this happened to anyone before?

I had to have growth scans with my last pregnancy and she was following the 10th centile and was born at 36 weeks weighing 5lb 2oz I think it was. But was induced as she stopped growing and I had pre-eclampsia. She was fine. Being induced isn't a bad thing sometimes they will give you the option but if they have you in for another growth scan and they say static growth then they will get you in. If they are happy with growth and baby is following the curve nicely then they will more than likely let you go full term :) x

I had to have growth scans in my last pregnancy as my bump didn't grown much from about 34 weeks. She remained on 10th centile for a few weeks and then dropped to just below 5th centile at 38/39 weeks. I was induced on due date and she and was born 6lb 6oz x

I was a 10th centile baby and I'm still very petite as an adult. My cousin is also a 10th centile baby who stopped growing at 34 so my aunt was induced at 37 weeks after weekly growth scans. She arrived with no medical assistance and is a happy, healthy 7yo. I think she was something like 7lb or something

My son was a 9th centile baby. He's currently shouting at his ipad when he's supposed to be in bed *glares at wall* lol he was 7lb 2 when born at 41+5
