Ok I know loads of you have done it already but isn't it exciting!!!
Went shopping today for all the bits we need for baby's hospital bag, nappies, cotton wool, muslin squares, socks, scratch mits etc and it was great! Feel like it's getting very real now even though I've got ages to go!
Am going to get my bits on Thursday - yippeeeeee

Woohoo! :) Def makes everything feel more real!

Bet you will unpack and repack about 10 times now haha xxx

Glad you got it sorted hun, now your prepared just in case! one less thing for you to stress about! x

I got my last bits for babies bag last night, and I'm only 27 wks, my nursery was finished and everything in it including a bumbo, little rocker thingy for baby, Moses basket, pram, room thermometer, bath etc by the time I was 24 weeks!!! I've bought everything he'll need up until and past weaning!!! I was so excited I had to get organised ASAP!!! Only things left are last minute stuff for my hospital bag, more nappies and a few more clothes, but I'll still stress I haven't got everything, don't think I'll ever relax!!!!
(Thought is better mention I'm not boasting just pointing out what a freak I am that I have to be so organised lol!!)

A good thing I found in mothercare yesterday was a newborn pack it was £12 and had a sleepsuit, 2 vests, scratchmitts, hat, and bibs, all in a handy pack that will fit nicely in the babies hospital bag! :)

I bougt this!! ) def worth it! Asda do a cheaper version too xx

I got 2 of the Asda ones like that - one tiny and one newborn! Defs a good idea :) xxx

Yeah we have got the asda ones too. What size clothes are you all taking with you for baby. We were going to take newborn and 0-3 (might put a 3-6 in car just incase we have a monster baby!!!!!!, sure feels like it is a possibility at the moment!!!!)

I was thinking about this today, when to pack it. I have most of the bits we need as i have just been buying things here and there. Will probably do it in the next couple of weeks. Want it sorted and ready by the time in 34/35 weeks. Its all exciting :-)

I wanted it done and then I can stop worrying that bumply is going to come early! I bet once mine is ready too bumply will be really late!!!

beanster, I've just taken tiny baby and newborn! :) Should maybe pop one or two 0-3 things in but was told he was small-ish so doubt he'll need them! xxx

I wasn't sure about the 0-3 stuff but I know my niece needed bigger clothes when she was born at 8lb 14 cos she was super long! When I've had a look at the different sizes we have got some of them don't look so different anyway! Off to bed now to dream about the super huge granny pants I've got on my shopping list for tomorrow when we go and get the stuff for my hospital bag!

Yeah some tiny baby things I have are just as big as newborn lol! Suppose it's worth taking a mix of different sizes :)

I have some lovely big granny pants too!! ;) And a super huge nightie

xxx

Big Granny Pants bought today!!!! They had some very nice floral ones but I just got black and white!
Didn't know what to get to wear to give birth in - just got a bigish nightshirt thing so I can undo the buttons to do skin to skin. Hoping to use the birth pool so will need to get a bikini top too!
