Got an awful bug (but 4D scan re-booked) :D

I have awful back pain my tummy aches and i feel sick my back pain is really sore its right under my bra strap (in that area) and under my boobs hurts too i just want to go to bed OH is at work and LO is here watching mickey mouse what could this be ? im all shakey and sore everywhere i think i may have slept on my back lastnight would this have anything to do with the pain in my back?

Sorry to hear your feeling so rubbish hun, sounds like you might be coming down with something, theres a lot of bugs going around at the moment.

It does sound like you have a tummy bug if you've just been sick, other aches and pains are probably unrelated. Just try to get soe rest when you are able to and wrap yourself up, drink sips of water if it helps. get OH to wait on you when he gets in.

Thanks girls i just had a little lay down and feeling a little better since being sick. LO layed down with me and watched night garden kept on giving me kisses bless her. Baby is moving around alot now so i know shes doing OK just hoping it will rain again today so OH comes home early

I had a 24hr bug last week and your symptoms sound exactly the same
I just felt really odd and achy all over, then just made it to the loo before chucking everywhere. My tummy was so painful and baby was kicking around like mad

Just try and get some sleep and sip water and also lucozade if you can manage it. Don't eat for 24hrs.

I cant stop eating and sleeping, but i had a big glass of water and my prenatal vitamins & omega 3 and was sick everywhere right after

It does sound like you have a bug you poor thing, try to rest as much as possible and stick with the dry toast

I have a crazy craving for hot toast and butter but OH took the last peices for his lunch suppose its my fault for eating two loafs since thursday having a bug wont hurt baby in any way will it? xx

baby should be fine so long as you keep up the fluids, lucozade is good for giving you fluid and some energy so try sipping on that, if it continues it would be worth having a qord with your MW so she can just check baby for you.

you have no idea how much i miss lucozade since moving over to canada, they dont sell it here. they ahve something similar called gatorade ??

Oh I hope your feeling better hun! I know how you feel! Last night was terrible for me! Belly was aching like crazy! I thought I had food poisoning! I was near tears! My son has been ill with a 24 hour bug and I thought it must have been that but luckily I wasnt sick or anything!

I love this forum so much you girlies are fab i am feeling a little better now OH is home and i had a extra few through the day. been nibbling on and off going out to get some food soon have a little fresh air might do me good and of corse that bar of galaxy! I know!! i cant beleive how sick i have been tonight again... i must have the flu cant keep liquids down though! i called my midwife but there too pre occupied by a bunch of births tonght and just told me to have a bath and take some pain releif. i cant even stand up x

I hate to say it but chocolate is not good for sickness, you really need to stick to energy drinks and dry toast and biscuits

i havent had any choc hun, just toast and gatorade (the same as lucozade) and some ginger ale i connot keep water down to save my life but on the fab side, my OH went and booked my 4D scan for SATURDAY my baby shower party is also that day so 4d in the morn then a big pink baby party in the afternoon
