Got a date for C Section!

Went to see my consultant today - most odd appointement! They seemed to just dismiss all the pains I've been having and were acting like I was making it up becasue all my other vital signs are ok, and urine clear etc.

But anyways, they have booked my section for Thursday 6th September!

I was hoping it would be before that, but there you go. The way things are looking, baby might appear before then anyway, in which case they will give me an emergency section.

But 4 weeks and 2 days at the most until I meet my LO! Scarey or what!

It's kinda scarey!

But I've just done myself a ticker - and its like 30 days to go, which sounds ages away to me!! Oh well, maybe i can talk baby into coming sooner.... how can i bribe him? lol

must be wierd knowing when you're having your bubba! my friend is having a section on thursday due to a small pelvis and she thinks its marvellous coz she can arange child care etc.

It still doesnt seem real to be honest! In 30 days I'll have a baby. That can't be right!

It's like, I can feel him in there, he moves around and gives me grief, but it's not really a baby - is it? Agggghhhhh, panick time!!!!!!!

I'm having a section for personal reasons I don't really want to go into - but it is on the advice of my doc, MW and consultant. I was thinking of telling people i was just "too posh to push" - but there is more to it than that. I might say that to certain members of OH's family to wind them up tho........

I can't wait for everyone else to start popping! Come on guys!!

i wish i had a date, but then again it could make it more scary, especially when the days start winding down. you will be fine im sure piglet. is there anyone else scheduled in before you in september or might you be one of the first september mummies

Looks like Vicky and Piglet will be the first out of our little gang to produce after all!!

I think I'll be around my due date, so somewhere near the 12th Sep. My recent scan showed the baby is a 'healthy' size already (!) so don't think I'll go way over.
