Good book recommendations??

Afternoon girls!
I finish work for the summer soon and am wanting to spend some time chilling with a good book....before reading is out of my reach for a while lol! Just wondering if anyone had read anything good recently? I like most things but especially books with a twist! Cheers! Xxx

I often look for man booker prize shortlists/winners when I'm looking for some inspiration, so quite a few of these have probably come from that. These are ones I remember being good at the time but couldn't honestly tell you what happened in all of them as I haven't done a huge amount of reading recently, so some are going back a good few years. xx

High Society is really good. From memory, I don't think there's a twist exactly, but the way the story unfolds is kinda twisty throughout... X

Yes this book is really good! I also very much enjoyed 'The Kite Runner' it is from the same author.
