Good and Bad

Just a little update on how I'm getting on.
Feeling mostly good at the moment - someone (who had a baby last year in similar situation to me and DH) has volunteered to fly out and relive DH for 9 days from 11th Dec so hopefully he will at least meet LO! Have packed hospital bags, well mostly and just waiting on one piece of furniture for nursery to be finished. Also doing our NCT classes now which are good, DH made me laugh tonight when he asked what the sieve was for if you used the birthing pool, I answered him in the car on the way home, this was his face:

On the bad side I have registered with an NHS dentist (to take over from Navy) and have a check up tomorrow - really have a thing about the dentist but at least I will be up to date on it before baby comes but I always seem to need something doing
Also decided to have a hair cut today before LO's arrival and its not great! Shorter than I wanted and straight across at the back. Even DH said its not how it normally looks after a cut! Grrrr, hair will have to stay tied up until I work out what to do with it

So just waiting for LO to make an appearance! Come on baby!!!!

Thats not a long post! haha Hoe funny about the sieve! Glad everything is going well. We have just registered at a new dentist as well and got appt next week as long as im not in labour! Hope all goes well and baby makes an on time appearance! xx

Glad all is going well, I have dentist on friday my gums have been playing havoc think I may have an infection not looking forward to it!

Not long to go now...............and excellent news on OH being around now. xx

Aww it's great he can be there to spend some time with bubs!!

Hopefully all your pregnancy hormones will make your hair grow really fast (mine has!), and you can get your hair adjusted to how you like it fairly soon

Brilliant news about your husband. And yes, get to the dentist! I wish I'd sorted my teeth out sooner and not ended up full term getting nerves pulled out of teeth and anaesthetic not working. All sorted now though but I really shouldve done it sooner. One less thing off the list for you then hun! X

Aww Frankie, great to hear about your OH! And as for the dentists, I have been on the waiting list for the last 6 months at least.... I have a huge hole in my tooth and it needs filling before its more hole than tooth! Dentists scare the crap outta me.....

Thanks girls, been to dentist - wasnt too bad - had a filing missing (oops dont know where that went!) but luckily it wasnt painful to get replaced. Have to go back once LO is here to have x-rays but at least its all okay on the surface at the moment.
Have made a start on presents the last couple of days too so feeling like I am getting on top of it all a bit more - love feeling sorted and organsied

aww how sweet of the person that is going to fly out and let your dh be with you and baby that is prob the best gift that a person could of given to you except the baby of course x x
