Hey girls,

My mum and step dad are taking Emily and I away for a night to a hotel. We'll probably leave about 10am that morning, check in and do some sightseeing etc. Problem is I don't know what to do about bottles. I usually make mine in advance. I could make maybe 5 in advance for that day and keep them in a cool bag/box but any ideas on what to do for the evening and her one night feed? Then the bottles for the next day. It's only Perthshire and I'm in Aberdeen so not far away. I've no idea if I should take the steriliser with me - tt electric steam steriliser (quite big) or should I just use Milton for when we're away? Even typing this is confusing me. Any advice would be great. Oh and I can't get the pre made stuff because she's on C and W comfort so you only get the powder.

X

You can get disposable sterilising bags hunny, i think boots sell them x x

i used the sterillising tablets when i was away just in a big bowl of cold water, but them bags sound good too. as for making them up can u not just make them all up with boiling water and then leave them without powder and take the premeasured powders in them tubs u can get and make them up as u need them.x

milton tablets are brill! just need a sink or something filled with cold water and a tablet, soak the bottles for half hour and done! If your going to a hotel they will prob provide a kettle in the room to boil your water x

if she takes them room temp i wud sterilise all ur bottles before u go and water and then buy a milk dispenser and just mix as u need, even if she takes heated i wud do this and heat in jug of hot water?? xx

Thanks girls, I've got the dispensers and Milton tablets already but I might get those sterlising bags m2a and take more formula.

Thanks :)

cant u buy the ready made formula cartons i know its expensive but its only for one night/day perhaps worth it then not be loads of hassle depends on how much she is drinking at one time

She's on cow and gate comfort and I don't think they make ready made stuff for the comfort milk x
