Godparents

Me and OH have just been chatting on the phone about little man's godparents and who to have! All the way through this pregnancy, he's only wanted his best friend as god dad and i said because we're having a boy, he should have 2 god dads and 1 god mum but if he only wants the 1 god dad then i can choose 2 god mums! Now OH has decided to ask another close male family friend so now i need to choose between the 2 girls i was thinking about asking to be god mum! One has been a very good friend of mine for 16 years and the other is a girl i've only known about a year but is also a very good friend of both me and OH and i feel like she's the only friend thats actually bothered with me through this pregnancy!
I've just looked on google to see how many god parents your allowed as we only had 3 for lacey and it says if we're having a boy then 2 god dads and 1 god mum.
Do you think the vicar is strict enough to do that or do you think he'll let us have 4 godparents?
When getting lacey christened, there was 4 boxes to fill out for godparents!

3 girls and 3 boys?? I have 2 girls and 1 boy for lacey so was gonna do the same kinda thing this time, 2 boys, 1 girl but i really can't choose between the girls!! it's so hard to choose!

Yeah you can have as many as you like! We're stuck on who to ask to be god father! Got my sisters lined up for god mothers!

When do you plan to get him christened?

Lacey was christened at 3 months so want it around the same time so hopefully janurary time. I've still got laceys christening gown so will use that even though it's a dress but i think boy's look lovely in christening gowns not suits! I'm glad i can have both the girls as well as the 2 blokes!
