Girls names...

I struggle with girl's names too! There's a lot I have on my list that I think will do as a middle name but none that I truly love apart from Elara but I can't get OH to agree at the moment! Whereas there are tonnes of boy's names I love.

Here's a bunch that I have noted down...

Brooke
Ruby
Ella
Jessica
Robyn
Melody
Lily
Alexis
Millie
Abigail
Karis
Nola
Freya
Hazel
Luisa
Seren

Millie was one I'd pretty much decided on, until Adam (his best friend and my very very close mate) went 'ya can't have that Dan, my dogs called it!' I wish people would keep their gobs shut!

The rest - I don't like! Maybe Freya, but I can't see me saying it! Arghh I'm doing my own head in now!!!!

Xx

I know, and usually I don't care! But this lass has made it very vocal has to what she thinks of this pregnancy, she knows his ex very well, and let's say they've taken a massive dislike to me and my child! Grrr the one thing with being 21 is that people around you are 18! Stupid little girls with no lives of their own!!

Amelie is beautiful, love it x

It really is, but it's just not me!

Let's just say I got referred to as 90% bloke the other day! I won't leave the house without my hair and make up looking perfect, my clothes being flawlessly ironed but I'm quite manly in the way I act! Put it this way I'm the assistant manager of a Sunday league side, and you can usually find me in the middle of a bunch of lads with a pint rowing over football (I'm the same now, but the pint is lime and soda!!). As I keep telling everyone, I'm pregnant to my centre back!!

So girly girly names are not just me (or him for that matter) can't imagine either of us down the park shouting 'Jasmine, come to mummy!' It just doesn't work for me. I think this is why I'm struggling with girls names so hard, that I'm just not very girly, so I can't imagine having a girly girl anyway!

Hmmm... I wouldn't worry about the dog's name. My dog is called Mia and one of our friends said "why have you called your dog Mia, that's a cats name!" only to go and name his baby Mia a year later although I guess if he's a very close friend of both of yours then it would be a bit more difficult.

Do you like Molly?

Here's a few more!

Aela
Cora
Esme
Ada
Anya
Alissa
Eliza
Ava
Alice
Elsie
Eleanor
Erica
Gracie
Indi
Libby
Clara
Tara
Annie
Paige
Phoebe
Olivia
Sara.

Do you like Lea (of Leigh)? It's not feminine but I think it's a lovely girl's name.

Katie for short

See I had this idea, and as much as I love my nanny, I don't like Kathryn enough to call my daughter it, then he suggested Katie - which I like but I've got a cousin I'm really close to called Katie. We're not a huge family so I don't really wanna use a name we've already got.

I suggested Chelsea - which was met with a massive round of Eff offs! He can't stand Chelsea football club (I don't know why - we're both huge Wednesday fans - hence the daniowl name!) so that went out the window 5 seconds after it was suggested!!

I do Kinkers, but Leigh is my mums name! So I'm not duplicating, it's something what annoys me tbh. Like he had it sure that if we were to have a boy his name would be Anthony - has him, his dad and his grandad are all Anthony's. I've put my foot down big style with that. Although I've agreed if it's twin lads, the other one can be called Anthony. Let's all pray I don't get twin lads!

I don't like Molly (I had a rabbit called Molly - I hate myself!!) He is very close, and he's a twat for doing this silly smile on his face whenever I say it, which I now can't get outta my head.

On that list, I must say Olivia is appealing to me, because I really like Livvy. The rest, I can't say I do! Thanks anyway babe xx

I really like this - your getting there MrsS, I may just call my child MrsS! Xx

How about using the initials of a name?

Quite boyish and cool and probably the best thing that will happen to her in high school lol
