I need a brainstorming session ladies! There are very few girls names i like at the min lol. Can anyone offer up any pretty girly names? I like Lucy, Ava, Chloe and that's all I can think of lol I need inspiration! Xxxx

We were going to use Amelia Rose but then changed our minds as we thought it might be getting more common.

Other options were Liliana, Eloise, felicity, dawn and rosa

I love unusual names, so much so I have never told my LO's name on here as I don't want anyone to copy it!

My LO is Sophia Joan, I've always loved the name Sophia, and Joan is after my mum.

Eva
Olivia

And I liked Amelia but there's a famous prostitute from Belfast who was called Amelia and I always associate that name with a prostitute now lol x

Lmao about prostitute! Aww il always think of that now too lol. Sophia is lovely but I know 2 or 3 people who've just had babies and named them Sophia. I'm so fussy that I wouldn't use the same name someone I know has lol xxxx

My 2 girls are Josie & Emma I was just like you with not wanting to have a name of someone we know etc and even with Josie i said to hubby "but that's like Josie Jump off balamory"!!! We have only ever come across one or 2 other Josie's and we shorten it to Jo, Jobee, Jose etc...

Emma I liked because although when I was at school there were lots of girls called Emma I hadn't heard of a "baby emma" for ages so went for it!!! Would love to have found another "josie" type name (ie everyone knows it but there aren't many of them iykwim) but we couldn't seem to find one so we chose Emma instead x x x x

I'm useless at girly names , I don't like many - My daughter is called Briony Leah , I'm a tomboy so struggle to like girly girls names, she is actually a 10 year old tom boy now too!! it's either genes or upbringing from me, but she really suits her name now..
