Girls name other half likes

Hi all,

What do you think of think of the name for a girl that my other half likes?

Ginn (with a hard G).

It's strange, sometimes I like is because it's different, but then most times I think no. (Personally I love the name Brenna - which we both liked until he discovered Ginn).

Honestly ... i'm not a fan of either but i'd say Brenna's the better of the 2. I first read Ginn as Gin like the spirit. Sorry x

Hey I also read it as Gin like the drink... I prefer Brenna out of the two, but at the end of the day, it shouldn't matter what anyone else thinks if you love a name

The girls names I liked were Ava (even though it's getting more popular by the second) and Cadence, which was my ultimate favourite.

i know a Ginn and a Brenna

my mums friend is called Ginnette but called Ginn by EVERYONE! and my friend is called Brenna . . . personaly i love both names so i'd say go with your gut

I think Ginn is quite nice if it is the shortened version of something but not sure I like it as a full name if that makes sense. I know a Genevieve and a Ginny that both are know as Ginn. xx

Thanks all, I think I'm talking him into moving away from Ginn - I really can't get used to it! I just love Brenna Grace (he doesn't like the Grace bit - though maybe I can talk him around!).

I'm thinking of this you know but 1) I'm not anywhere near pregnant yet and 2) OH is from a line of many boys on the paternal side, so I'm very doubtful for a girl!!! Oh well, we live in hope

My OH's Paternal side is the same, we knew we were having a boy with Jack and we've kinda resigned ourselves to no.2 being a bluey too! x
