Hi, Just wondering where people are at with weight of bump? I am 27 weeks and have started feeling really weighted down at the front and getting up in the night to pee is an effort and I feel like I am carrying a bowling ball with me! I feel like I have come a long way; but on seeing how far some people are here, makes me feel really far behind... I wonder how does one feel when around 35 weeks + regarding carrying baby weight etc; I have also started to get veiny eek..

Hope all are well xxxx

well my baby currently weighs around 4lb 4oz, thats like two bags off suger i think?? but u just get used to it :)

I am finding it really hard now - at 36 weeks I was measuring 39 weeks so I am pretty huge! It s getting so heavy to carry but I am lucky in that I am quite large framed anyway, but can imagine a more petite person would be getting crippling backache! I have to walk really slowly cause my bump constantly aches and it feels really uncomfortable. Turning in bed is an absolute nightmare, it really strains your bump and has to be done really slowly and carefully - not good when you can't sleep anyway and toss and turn all night! xx

mine feels heavy sometimes also. but i think it depends on where your baby is at. I'm not as far on as 35 weeks and feel well behind the rest in here too , just wish it would hurry up as I'm excited about meeting my little pudding now.. :).

I'm 27 weeks to n I no what u r sayin, with my lad I went bigger but every were so carried easier, this time it's like I've swallowed a bowling ball n it's very low n like it's just stuck on, so gets in way of bending down or rolling over lol which u actually do alot when u have a toddle, just like doing his laces or pickin up his toys is hard work, but hey our bumps grow with us so I guess we just get used to it x

I can honestly say that a heavy bump is one complaint I don't have! It's probably because I'm big framed (size 18) anyway but at 34 weeks today I don't think my bump is that big and though I do have aches and pains at times, and shuffle like a biddy when I get up in the middle of the night for the loo etc, I don't really have back ache or feel like there's something heavy I'm carrying around.
