Gender scan - Potty shot, is this a girl?

Just wondering if anyone can help.

I'm pregnant with our second child and had a gender scan at the weekend. The sonographer struggled to get a good view but thinks baby is a girl.

I can't stop looking at the potty shot we got. I can kind of see the three lines they talk about but can also see a gap at the top of the legs which is making me have doubts, not helped by the fact I was already 100% convinced we was having a boy. Am I seeing something that isn't there? My husband thinks I am We're truly not bothered either way and just want a healthy baby but would like opinions before we turn the house pink.

Thanks, even if nobody else agrees I feel more sane knowing at least one other person sees what I'm seeing

Very difficult to see. But from comparing to our sons gender scan 3 years ago i would say it looks very similar! So i sa boy too. Keep us updated if you have another scan!

Most places offer you to come back if they're not sure or it's not clear.... did they not give you that option? How many weeks are you?

No, no option to go back. I was 16+1 at the scan.

Think I might be better holding off buying anything until our 20 week scan.

Yes I'd ask them to check at the 20 week scan. I've got a gender scan on Saturday, I'll be exactly 17 weeks, but I'll ask them To tell me at my 20 week scan (without telling them what the gender scan said).

Good luck for your scan at the weekend! We did a similar thing last time round, asking the sonographer at the 20 week scan to confirm.

It is a pretty poor scan picture and however much I tried I couldn't get a clear picture of the picture! Maybe baby just moved slightly which has caused a bit of a distortion. Guess we will know in a few weeks time.

Looks like a girl to me. The angle of that picture isn't great though!
