gave up trying but randomly light period?

I was actively trying last year to get pregnant and I finally give in, decided it wasn’t the right time and to just focus on myself for a bit and get settled (new home, stressful job)

Between the 31st of December and the 6th of Jan I was still with my partner and we did have unprotected s-x at some point in that week.. not sure what date

Haven’t thought anything of it, until Tuesday the 22nd of Jan I got my period, but my periods aren’t light or easy and very heavy.. this was light and lasted just under 24 hours (red, brown all sorts of weird colours) it wasn’t spotting, it was an actual, but very light bleed! and now I’m spotting, few drops a day and nothing else.. and 1 day without anything at all? I’ve never had a period like this, today I have odd craps and my stomach feels like it’s twitching and I’ve looked up these symptoms and I have taken a pregnancy test, but I’m a little new to all this? Anything and any advice you all can give will be great

oh and I have just realised I am one week early!

It’s difficukt to say as cycles can change all the time due to different circumstances. It could be pregnancy related but it could well be a random cycle. As your a week early I’d say wait a week or atleast 5 days before testing again & see what happens
