right for the past 3 nights ive been woken up several times with cramps.. i know they are normal at this stage..and people have their ideas on why they are caused..

im eatting atleast 1 banana a day, im drinking enough and i have been eatting salt the last 2 days (sprinkled on chicken sarny)

so what else is there to try? im trying not to lay with one leg on the other so the blood supply isnt cut off..its driving me nuts.. and its sooo bloody painfull.. and very hard to get out of bed quickly with a stupid leg that you cant straighten and bent up toes.. and then the other leg cramps and oyu look and feel like a 90 year old woman wiht ricckets(sp)

i'm the same lisa... i am eating 2 bananas a day and still get them.. i spoke to the midwife last week about this. there isn't really anything we can do.. she did suggest a bit more excercise for better circulation... the only excercise i can manage nowadays is my 30 min of walking the dog in the morning......

pfft the only exercise i get is walking back and forth to the fridge and the toilet lol...i knew it would come.. just thought people might know some other ways of getting rid of the buggers :(

i was having the same. I asked my friend who asked the midwives at the hospital. A few of the midwives said the same thing, have hot milk before bed and even though i need the toliet more i've not had cramp once (touch wood!!)

At work we tell the old dears to get more quinnine into their diets to help with cramp.

It's worth a go I reckon if its that bad, you'll find it in tonic water. If you get the flavoured ones they are not so bad.

do they still have it in tonic water? thought they took it out now? will give anything a bash lol. will put tonic water with squash if i have to lol

my muscles pulled in one of my legs where ive had cramp last night.. killing lol

 I just googled it and it says best avoided during pregnancy.....maybe I'd ask in the chemist or holland and barrett or somehing.

Sorry for the bum advice

seriously just try hot milk just before bed! there are excises to do too but i've not done them
