Hey ladies,

I'm struggling standing up for periods due to blood pressure... I'm a dog groomer so I'm looking at buying a stool to help.

Ideally I want one that will be comfy to use when I have a bump also, would you be kind enough to look at the link below and share your thoughts on which you think would be most comfortable throughout pregnancy? With no bump experience myself I haven't a clue which to go for - normal or saddle style?

It is the first two products on the page I'm wanting to compare, thanks :)

I've heard the saddle type ones are comfy and good for posture!

Thanks hun...I think I'm leaning towards that one, seems a little more sturdy too - I don't want to topple off! xx

I would go with the 2nd one too, only because when you get quite far on your pelvis starts to ache and sitting on a flat surface can sometimes hurt :)

xxx

I know this may not be exactly what you are looking for but have you thought of a perching stool. Although they are designed for people with disabilities I could see it being really helpful in your situation as you can perch on it without being in a full siting position (which could hurt your lower back when handling the dogs). My dad had one and I used to use it when doing stuff in the kitchen like peeling veg, etc.

Thanks for the feedback ladies, very helpful :)

Peapod I'll have a look at the link, if they are easy to adjust the height on another possibility. xx
