Just wanted to say I'm thinking of you all, its sooooooooooo frustrating being overdue and when you think your body isn't doing what its supposed to do but you will all have your LO's soon, just hang on in there! Sounds so easy for me to say I know but I was a week over and in slow labour so know exactly how your all feeling. You all must be so uncomfortable and fed up by now and feel as if your gonna be pregnant forever but it really will all be over soon.

Thats really kind of you to be thinking of us. I'm only 3 days over so far so i've not waited as long as the others but it feels like forever already!

As you can see i'm up posting at this silly hour, been having painful tightenings/contractions(?) since 12am but nothing to time really. They fell very different though, pain goes from under my bump through to my back & they last about a minute so fingers crossed. Has bought back memories of my 1st DD's Labour!
Got sweep tomorrow so we'll see what happens, hopefully they'll be able to do it .

Didn't get a sweep today cos the unit was packed with mums in labour lol - we heard a new born baby cry was lovely But am booked in for one tomorrow at some point then sunday if needs be and after that if i gets that far another one booked at the big hospital for a week tomorrow.... cummon babies! your times are definatley UP!

Fly sorry they couldn't see you today hun, you must be so feed up, I know I would be.

I've just got back from the hospital & they managed to do a sweep & i'm 2cm dialated contractions have eased off though, they were 6/7 mins apart during the night. I'm still having tightenings, they monitored me on the machine for 30 mins & had 4 but they seem to reduce when i'm up & walking around.

They booked me in for another sweep in 48 hours with midwife if nothing has happened.
Off for a nap & to enjoy the calm before the storm! Fingers Crossed!!

If nothing has happened by 14th then they will break my waters & admit me, they said they don't think i'd need inducing as my cervix will be open & they'll just try breaking waters 1st.
