i dont think im going to wait- it seems more exciting / easier to prepare for when u know the sex..................can they tell easily on the ultrasound? can they tell b4 20 weeks? weeheee last time i drank 1.5 L fluid (by accident) and pushed my baby into my ribs lol. my bladder was taking over the screen haha

Well I know I was so excited I went out to buy blue clothes straight from hospital?
Yea was easy to see, Altho my boy had his leg tightly together untill prodded to move them lol!
I think it's about 18 weeks that can tell from, but not 100% on that!

ahhhhh exciting, i had my first scan last week at 18 weeks and the baby look like it was running , its legs were running crazy! was urse like that? xxx

Lol I think Matthew (have already decided on name) is a bit camera shy? Didn't move much untill I walked out the hospital lol!
But seeing his heatbeat was the most incredible thing I have ever seen!

you pick up the heart rate with a doppler at the midwife appointments

how do we check bpm? my wife is 2weeks pregnant.

I don't think you'd pick it up on a doppler this early, you might have to wait until your 16week midwife appointment - at least, that's when I heard mine!

I have heard mine from 15 weeks every fortnight at the community midwife and since 20 weeks seen it on a scan it has always been between 134 - 148 we are having a girl

was on one of they monitors where they put the belt round the bump today and when I had movement or a braxton hick it went up to 170!!! was so so fast lol xx

well the scans that I get they put the heart on screen and count it for a minute and it shows up on the screen as how many BPM also I get the doppler scan weekly and you can see the peaks on the screen and hear it too xx

ha ha cool, ive had one doppler done so far lol and they had trouble finding the heart beat as baby was lying more to my back ha

yes dont drink more water! water bad for you!!! ha ha just kept me up all night peeing =(
