I am sick of ppl thinking its ok to stick needles in me Oh well it will be over soon and i hope i come back low risk Everyone please pray for me, im getting nervous now if im honest. Ill get to listen to baby though i know i do any way but im hoping she can work out the bpm for me, blech i hate needles

Im back from my appointment and they took over 6 blood samples, didnt hurt though

It was great to hear babies heartbeat again, and get all the paperwork finally completed.

Just hoping now that all the test results come back ok for us both!!!!!

grrrr"!!!!! just phoned for my appointment and the midwives are only in on a friday and the only time she can give me is 1.45!!! Do they not realise some of us have to fit our appointments around working hours

Lisaspoon - Just wanted to add that by law your work has to give you time off for antenatal appointments.

Lisa - as Charmd said, your company (as long as you have informed them you are pregnant) are legally obliged to give you paid time off work to attend antenatal appointments.

My work is 45 minutes away from work place but like you my midwife just does really weird sessions so I just have to take what is available and miss 3 hours of work!

yeh i know, ...... but it takes me 45mins to get there and back which means i'll be back at work about 3ish and then be leaving at 430!!! haha! considering taking a half day with the OH , not sure I can be bothered dragging my ass back into work!
