Hi there,

Just wanted some advice please about whether to get folic acic on its own or a tablet that has a mixture of vitamins and minerals for future mums.

This is our 3rd time of trying, as we have had 2 MC's earlier this year. I used a sanatogen 'mum to be' the last two times but wondered if anyone could recommend any other one's they have used.

Sorry, I cant recommend but want to wish you lots of luck and baby dust x

Hi Hun,

I'd personally get a Pregnancy multivitamin that has Folic Acid in it, like Pregnacare or Sanatagen 'Mother To Be'.

Also, you could try Baby Aspirin, that's meant to help if you have a history of miscarriage.

You just take 75mg of normal Aspirin- no more.

I had a M/C and am trying it for the first time this cycle, do a bit of research online, it will help you decide if it's right for you.

Good Luck! xx

I would take a complete vitamin plus folic acid - i use pregnacare :)

I'm not sure if it is essential to have a complete vitamin, although the folic acid is a must.

Hi hun

Ive been using Pregnacare Folic Acid and Fish Oil Combination - you get a both in the same box xoox

Thanks girls,

I was thinking of trying Pregnacare this time, they have it at a reduced price in Asda too!!!!

Maybe baby - thanks for the advice about baby aspirin. I have heard about it and researched it on the internet. It seems to have great results for people who have had previous miscarriages. Would like to try it but just abit concerned as all the advice says to check with your docotor first! Have you spoken to your doctor? Or just decicded to go on it?

I've just gone for it actually, maybe I should have asked?

I need to call later re an appointment so I might ask the question...

I'll let you know.

xx

I was taking Folic Acid and a separate B vitamin, but then lots of the girls on here appeared to have great results with Pregnacare so I switched over last week. Here's hoping x
