Folic acid...when to start taking?

Hiya all,

As some of you will already know i will be joining you starting in January as i had my last depo injection in October which covers me until December 22nd.

When should i start taking folic acid? I was told as soon as i start trying, is that correct? x

From up to three months before you start trying, so you could start taking them now if you wish.

I had no idea I was trying to concieve so I started taking mine at 4 weeks.

I agree with Chopsie I would start taking them any time now so youve got it in your system when you start ttc xx

Yep I agree. It can only help by taking them now

The earlier you start taking them the less chance of m/c they say.
I would just take the cheap ones though while ttc, save the pregnacare expensive ones untill you get a bfp.
