Hey girls,

I'm planning on taking Dylan on holiday with my parents to Malta which will involve a 4hr flight.. D will be 11 months by then as well so will most likely not be walking either.

Are there any tips you girls who have done this before have or can think of things i will need to take with me!

Noa have traveled on plane 4 times n we got 2 more flights comin up whitin a week. I would say don't sit by the window, make sure its easy accses to walk with him. Try n make it so its his naptime when on the flight. X

give them bottles to drink or a teat to suck, as the sucking should help with the ears, i took some toys too to try keep him amused (my son was only 4months), we all took turns at cuddling him on the plane journey, and he actually done really well, didnt cry once ! i sat close to the isle incase he wouldnt settle but didnt need to get up and walk around with him as he slept most of the flight after having his bottle! All I can say is, try and keep yourself calm to be able to soothe if the wee 1 get's irratable and upset, and dont feel you cant walk up and down the isle because you can! and remember and take a couple of toys, to try keep the wee 1 amused !

Thanks girls. Was there anything u had to take with u for him other than clothes etc? Were going for a week abstract I'm dreading the luggage!

See if you can share his stuff out between your luggage and your parents' if they've got some spare room :)
When we went abroad with Lizzie we bought nappies/wipes etc over there as we knew there was a Tesco, is there any way you can find out if there are supermarkets nearby?
Also, we went to Slovakia where it's kind of unknown not to breastfeed, so they only had one type of formula and it was nearly double the cost...just to bear in mind if you're formula feeding :)

Thanks becki. He'll be 11 months by then so hoping they may have been dropped a lot x
