First Ultrasound--what do you see?

Here is a picture of my first ultrasound. I was 8 weeks and 6 days at the time. I went to a place where they just do imaging, and they don't really tell you much of what's going on, as they don't give medical advice.

So what do you guys see when looking at the picture? Is the placenta on the bottom of the image? What's going on around the uterus? HR was 177 bpm.

Hi Shelby, unless someone on here is a qualified sonographer or radiologist I don't think anyone can give you insight on your questions.
I'm sure you were happy to see baby and heartbeat though. I wouldn't spend too much time focusing on anything else in the scan pic.

I had a scan at 10 weeks at the hospital...She literally said it had a heartbeat and was too early to tell for anything else. I think even if you had someone with knowledge they'd just tell you what you already know.
