First scan today! PHOTO'S ADDED

Booked in for my 12 week scan at 11.30 today and I'm so excited to finally see if they're a buba in there or not!
Been having dreams the past few days that when I go they say there's no baby in there and just send me home and put me on a diet lol........hope that doesn't come true!

everything will be fine chick i went for mine last week and i was the same apart from all i could think about was don't pee myself after drinking all the water, i didn't think i could hold out lol! they will find your baby straight away you wont have time to think about it! xx

I had just the same fear Tinks, I was amazed when they found a baby in there. I was able to really believe then, you will too.

It was all so clear and it's a wriggler!! I've been put forward a week so apparently am now 13w 4d!

Wow... Am so hoping they will do that for me too... My early scan put me forward by half a week but have not used that timing as it was so early.... Am waiting till the 12 week one that is more accurate...

Lovely photos . Mine stayed quite still throughout which worried me a bit until the midwife pointed out that it's probably just sleeping lol.

I had a moment of 'WOW, I'm really pregnant!' the afternoon after the scan but now it's kind of faded. Now I look down at my only slightly protruding belly and think "Is there really a baby in there? Really!? They didn't make a mistake or anything?"

Maybe when I feel some first movements it'll be a bit more real again .

PS - I don't know if this might sound strange but the scan photo has your full name, partial date of birth and location of your hospital. You might want to be careful about posting that on a public forum... A simple program like Paint could be used to black out those details.
Sorry, can't help pointing that out as I work for a company dealing with consumer privacy issues etc.

Good point, never thought of that lol might have to try and fix that later but my home Internet seems to be having a hissy fit and can't do that on my phone. Will try later though thx

Still have my slight feeling of disbelieve but I suppose that's because I've been incredibly lucky and have had no sickness what so ever but a bump is well and truly on it's way so kinda feel pregnant!
