first midwife appt and 12 wk scan

hey all, haven't really written much for a while, have had the worst cold over the last few days that has knocked me for six! anyway, had booking in appt with the midwife today and she booked me in for a scan on the 21st May, i;ll be 12+4 so really looking forward!! even though all this is happening and got my notes and everything, still doesn't feel real. i think cos i've been feeling so good (touch wood!) and not put on any visible weight (i've put on loads on the scales, but it doesn't seem to be showing anywhere!) i'm sort of having to remind myself. I think it's only really going to feel real when i start to show. hope you're all doing well and enjoying the nice weather

We are about the same - and my scan is the day after you.

Time seems to be going sooooooooooooooooo slowly, but cant wait to see that all is well. I have certainly being throwing up enough, so better not be for nowt!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

So exciting getting a date for your scan! I had mine at around 12+14 and got jumped forward to 13+1 which was a nice surprise. It's amazing seeing the little person wriggling about!

I know exactly how you feel about things not feeling real, I also had a really normal first tri, no sickness or other symptoms, and still feeling the same. Still doesn't feel real to me, wee bit bloated now but still no obvious bump as yet. I bought a doppler from ebay last week so I have a wee listen to bubs heartbeat every few days to connect and try to convince myself it's real!

Hey hun im glad all went well with the MW and your scan date is the same as mine!!!!! Its at 3.50pm for me

ooh how exciting flossy, guess there will be a few pics up one after the other!! i know it's only 2 weeks away, but feels like these are going to be a long 2 wks. At least got different things counting it down, my dad's 60th over the weekend and then going to manchester next weekend so that kind of pushes things along i guess.
