First AF since the birth

Ryan was 6 weeks old yesterday and AF decided to show up The thing is its really heavy, and by that I mean heavy enough to soak a super plus tampon in less than an hour. Sorry, probably TMI but I just wanna know if its normal for it to be heavier after having a baby? It wasnt this bad after Josh but then again I had a section this time

I think that sounds quite normal. My 1st ones after my kids was super heavy and also lasted about 3 times longer than normal.

my first one was heavy for th first few days and then it subsided but i think your better off wearing a san towel for the first one and then use tampons from then on as your af should be back to normal.

i think its normal for them to change a bit. Mine came back last week, but rather than being heavy like normal it was fairly light and only laster 4 days rather than my normal 5 - 7
