What do you give your LO for finger food?

I give Jake:

Small piece of banana
an 8th of an apple
Dried apricot
Chunky slice of cucmbmer
Small square of toast

I have given him the manufactured things but he doeem to like them as much :lol:

Bread, cooked carrot broccoli or cauliflower (they do ready prepared bags in the supermarkets, I just cook one cos the pieces are already good finger food size), Cheese always goes down well, in chip/stick shapes though not squares, Pear, Apple, Organix carrot/tomato/sweetcorn crisps, rice cakes.

I give Dylan finger food at each meal and he has:

*Any fruit (pear, strawberries, mini bananas, apple, grapes, tangerines etc)
*toast with unsalted butter/dairylea
*breadsticks with humous/dairylea (this is called his cone)
*cucumber sticks
*wholemeal bread with soup to dip
*steamed veg
*homemade burgers
*sandwiches

Can't think of any other ones just now but D loves feeding himself and I'll give him anything he can hold x

Any fruit and veg, plus there's meats;
roast chicken strips
stewed steak
sliced ham

Also;
cheerios (good for hand eye/mouth co-ordination :D )
digestive biscuits
crackers

Errrm can't think of anything else at mo, have fun trying new things with him Natalie :cheer: :hug:

Ben loves the organix carrot puffs and raisins are his other favourite. He loves cheerios.

I can't get him to eat any real fruit :wall: He loves it in a puree but won't eat a banana or a strawberry. Any ideas how I can encourage him to try it
