Finally he's picked!

Hubby has finally decided on a boys name today. Ashley John But he also likes Kevin so I won't be suprised if he chances it to Kevin lol.


For a girl I've chosen Katie Ellen


It's only taken him 7 and a half years to think of a name hehe.

I like the name Katie, Kevin is nice as long as it doesn't get shortened to Kev and even though Ashley is a bit too unisex for me I don't dislike it

Cheers guys. Had to tell someone. Couldn't tell my parents as they slated the name Katie so we not telling them anything else.

They've never rang me since I was kept in hospital at 6 weeks either (saw them just before ended up in)

Oh yeah I prefer Ashley to Kevin too but we made a deal - I choose girls name and he chooses boys

Hats off to you for splitting the responsibility! If we did that a boy would get some bloody footballers name! Or a really dull overused family name from his side that crops up far too often amongst his siblings and cousins children already lol

Haha he's using the family name as the middle name.
But TBH I thought letting him choose the boys name will help make him feel a bit more connected to the baby. That it IS also his baby iykwim.

Having said that, Ashley is really nice so well done him.. I'm not a fan of Kevin tho.

Great name choices, Great youve decided too! We've decided the same, I'll pick if a girl (with his approval) and he will pick the boys. I love the name Evelyn for a girl and he seems happy with that but my OH is a huge star wars fan and it's got to be a name to do with the film so I'm hoping its Lucas or something rather than Hans or Chewie!! xxx
