Finally getting organised!!!!

Had the most productive day and wanted to share with the ladies!!!

Sorted all Reshaun's clothes for nursery as he starts one on Monday where they wear a uniform! I could eat him!!!

Bought our pushchair!!!! We got the Quinny Zapp Xtra in black with the new Maxi Cosi car seat. We we're gonna get the Buzz 3 and even ordered it but changed our minds today!

Got our Tommee Tippee movement monitor and Tommee Tippee sterilising kit worth £120 for £55 absolute bargain!!! (give or take a few pounds, can't remember exactly!!)

Even got loads of sleep suits, bibs and vests and general hospital bag stuff for us both!!!

Still got more to get next week and mum will be getting the Moses basket but really feel like I'm getting somewhere now!! Happy happy happy!!!

He looks sooooo grown up! His trouser have actual pleats in them!

The pushchair itself was £229 and the car seat was £124. Could have got the old one for £95 last week but they just sold the last one and its end of line now. We got £10 off with a coupon that they gave to us for travel systems in store today and also a £10 voucher for anything else we wanted today or on a returning visit! I really rate Babies r Us near me. Great service too!

All from Babies R Us Hun. Half price and you get the electric steriliser, bottle warmer, cleaning kit, 10 bottles and some other stuff. Well worth it!

Woo-hoo that's great hun, it feels great when everything starts to come together doesn't it? I still need to buy steriliser & bottles....that sounds like a good deal except Babies R Us is miles away from me and I wasn't going to bother with a monitor as I'm only in a 1 bed flat and don't think I'll really need it! I on the other hand have hit a brick wall with getting organised...am happy I have got all the baby stuff I need (except steriliser and breast pump) but can't get motivated on cleaning and clearing through my flat, am just too tired all the time! xxx

I felt too tired to go to Babies R Us today so have ordered the tommee tippee stuff on line. Its the same price and you get free delivery on orders over £50.00 anyway! Just thought I'd let you know if you are interested in that offer on bottles etc. xxx

Ah Amanda, the cleaning! Me and OH are blitzing the place now (having a PF break naturally!) as it really needs to be done and I'm on my own most weekends during the day as he's @ college sat and sun so I've nabbed him on his day off to help bless him! I feel so much better when the house is organised. As a treat to myself, when we're done cleaning we're gonna get out all the stuff that we bought for Jaiden and coo for half an hour or so! Lol! Xx

Well my hubby has cleaned the kitchen today so that's a start I've just got so much crap I need to chuck out to try to create a bit more order and space for baby stuff. I love cooing over my baby purchases - show it to everyone who visits whether they want to see it or not, ha ha!! xxx

I'm starting to feel sorted too now Spent Friday decorating the nursery which looks fab - just need my dad to put up a couple of pics for me to finish it off. Ordered the mattress for the cot on Sunday and bought some bedding bits so once that's arrived can make the cot up and it will pretty much all be done! Just need to buy a breast pump for expressing (I want the Medela Swing and I'm just waiting to try and get it at the best price poss online) and maybe a breast feeding pillow (still not decided which to get) and apart from that have all the big bits now so just need to get packing my hospital bag x

I feel completely unorganised. So far have got a few clothes for the baby, my pushchair and have ordered my bottles. Thats it!
Keep saying to OH we need to get organised and start buying stuff. Another spanner has been thrown in the works though now I've been signed off work for 4 weeks. I really need to get to mothercare and other places but feel as though I shouldn't when I should be at work! I don't want to buy everything on the internet but if I have to then thats what I'll have to do. I need to get my car seat sorted and can't do that on the internet.

It'll come together for us all because it has to really! Lol! It just gives us greater piece of mind if it was all sorted. I've turned into the biggest procrastinator ever since bein pregnant again and its awful! Haven't even packed my hospital bag despite buying things to put in it! Quite frankly, I can't be arsed! Would be the most sensible option tho but the effort, OH the effort!!! X

That's the worst when you have to rely on others! We're just sticking stencilled images on as it's rented and already magnolia. Need to rent the rug doctor to spruce the carpets up and think I might be getting nursery furniture tomorrow. Getting there slooooooowly!

I think I'm like you and need to buy an actual bag and I have a tiny suitcase but it is just that, tiny!

I'm trying to work out how big the bag actually needs to be, I don't really want to look like I'm off to Australia for 3 months

At least she won't be in that room straight away and my mum assures me it'll be done before she arrives. If I had the money I'd just pay someone to do it, in fact I'd pat for the whole house to be done. Lotto win defo needed! I think the only essentials I have left to buy are my pram and bedding. Just waiting for the grant now.

Awww thats wicked! Not much left to do at all for you! And yeah, true about them not being in the nursery right away. I was gonna leave buying the nursery stuff til March when me and OH both get our bonuses but think we'll get it out the way with this tax credit money.

What pushchair u getting? I'm in love with ours!!! I keep getting it out and pushing it round the house!
