fewer burps?!

is it normal to need to wind ur baby less as they get older? i used to get 2 or 3 burps out of millie after every feed, now i only get 2 or 3 every 24 hours! im not leaving them in there am i?

No its normal. I stopped altogether at about 6 months when I started weaning Isaac.

I think it is because when they start moving around more, they dont have so much trapped wind, they push it out by themselves. also when they start having a bit of solids, that makes it different too - you have started with weaning, havent you? I seem to remember that you have from other posts, or am I wrong?

When I finish one side with Ryan, I hold him with his hands and get him practising sitting up - like ya do.. lol - and he burps them up himself, I rarely have to rub his back or anything now. Maybe I still should, but he seems fine.

I still sort of wind Isaac, just in case, but he really doesn't appear to need it anymore, he burps and f*rts away by himself with ease when he wants
