It's stupid and childish but I just think... "what a pansy"...

I've endured the whole of the bleeding Prelude, 1805 and 1850 version. How can anyone be so so self-absorbed to edit his own biography for 50+ years (and then end up with a worse version)?

Because he was monumentally in love with himself.. And a bit of a prat.
I do love Shelley... nice chunky poetry you can get your teeth into.
Byron would be a great pub mate...but he would probably end up doing too many shots and becoming maudlin.
