I'm impressed, that's quite a bit of poem to know by heart.

I only know a largish selection of miscellanious stanzas out of Don Juan. Which I only rehearsed because they share my irrational hatred for Wordsworth.

Don Juan, ooh scandalous! What book is it, where the heroine reads Don Juan and gets into a heap of bother cause it's inapporopriate for a young lady? It's on the tip of my tongue... arrgh that's going to annoy me now.... it's a kid book I think.. What Katy Did or something..

I am quite good at memorising poetry. I have no idea why because otherwise I have an awful memory. Plus I always like TMOA because Castlereagh was the district I used to live in, yer man was Lord of it. And because I was a ghoulish child I was a big fan of the whole slit-his-throat back story

Never heard of the book, but it does sound interesting. I just love Byron and Shelley. They rock. Especially Byron. I'd love to go for a drink with him.
