Fetal medicine

Hi

I am 7 weeks pg and as some of may have already read on some of my posts I have spina bifida occulta. My Dr has refered me to an Obstetrician specialising in fetal medicine who I am seeing this friday, then my first ante natal is on the 10th of May. I didn't ask my Dr what to expect from the appointment with the specialist and as it's this friday I'm really nervous and unsure what is going to happen.

Have any of you had experience with this and can give me some advice? Also I have agreed with the Dr to have a nuchal scan so am wondering if this will be given to me on friday?

hi I am no sure what you should expect from you visit, BUt wanted to wish you ggod luck thgouh your pregnancy, and to say that the Nuchal scan is usually done at 10-12 weeks well thats when i have to have my one done
