feeling your own cervix .... erm

erm, i;ve read loads posts on other places about women feeling their own cervixes and it made me feel a bit ill...just wondering if anyone on here had done it and if it was safe???
xx not that i could probably do it cos i would be ill x

I did it with my last coz I was in so much pain for such a long time and with having a section with my first I just thought I may have Ben having Braxton hicks so I put some gloves on washing my hands in anti bac before and wharle wearing gloves and then had a check with ky jelly and I was like omg I was 3cm but was really painful and wouldn't do it again haha!! Not sure if it's 100% safe either coz everything is sterilised ect in hosp also it was my due date when I checked too so had convinced myself I couldn't be in labour lol I figure if my husband sticks his dirty willy up there... Lol!!

Er I think not. I'd rather not know tbh. I hate the midwifes putting their fingers up there! The less I know the better I think lol

i been thinking this.. i dont think i would know what to feel for anyway, and do you really reach it with your fingers??

Also.. i was thinking.. when its time to stick the EPO up the twinkle, cant i just rub the oil on OHs willy and ask him to rub it up there?

hha!! well i havent even shoved the epo up there lol. just the idea of feeling my own cervix is making me feel icky but im kinda interested but then i would either really excite my self and be like wooooooooooooooooo im having a baby or realy depress myself and never find it lol and tbh i would probably manage to convinve myself i dont have a cervix llo

Omg you all make me laugh on here personally I can't feel my Cervix I only have little fingers , you can if you put one foot on the bath though and keep one on the floor, and you just automatically know what they feel like when you feel em haha it hurts me abit though so I wouldn't reccomend to go poking your cervix.

im tempted to try it jst to say i have done but it scares me soooooooo much haha. what if i passed out christ can you imagine how phil would fnd me, half naked, on the floor, the size of abeached whale, with my fingers in my fangita?? oh the images

I got a bloke alfred at work that is a nurse, he have been at a few births in his contry when he was doing his training. and he keep telling me its all good "UNTIL THEY CUT YOU OPEN cuz they will!! "
so i told demba about this that this bloke keep on scaring me.
the other day Demba said to me "if you go in to labour and im at work, just call alfred and tell him i to bring the kitchen sissors, i buy him new ones"
