Feel really off!? Update* (1cm dilated 3/5 engaged induction Saturday)

Had some period pains on an off lots of sweating haha
Been on they ball two hours going to try and get my head down tonight
Fingers crossed it works over night doesn't seem to have slipped down x

Worse pains now, relaxed all evening in abit of a strop nothing was working
Absolutely red hot on the ward too
Had some paracetamol which didn't work and I had to get up to use the ball as I felt restless
My backs really cramping and the codeine they've given me has made me feel so woozy and tired
But not taking the edge of the pain x

Sounds like things are really ramping up eeeek good luck! Thats exactly how I felt right before things suddenly got fully underway xx

Contractions showing up on the monitor getting stronger
Given into a diamorphine injection in hope of some sleep because they sore
Had an internal and through the pain and contractions I'm still flaming 1cm
Currently sat sobbing my eyes out

Oh no, easy to say but try & focus on the fact that little one WILL be here soon. Big hugs!

Try and go for a walk. Walking is great and really set my contractions off. Also bounce on that ball and try and relax.

After a scary morning.... I am now a good 2cm with a soft low cervix she could feel his head and bulging waters
They are waiting for my bed so they can break my waters .. xx

Archie Born 07.55am 06/03/2017 weighing 7 pound 13
8 hour labour from breaking my waters
Got too 5cm on gas and air codeine and diamorphine before having an epidural and I fully lost it
I don't know weather it was the pain and the back to back contractions of the drip they had me on
But I couldn't sit still and the midwife was the biggest liar in the world lol
How that anaesthetist coped with me I'll never know as i couldn't sit still
Baby didn't like how long I was in labour and had some decellls of the heart and began with a very fast pulse
Started to discuss intervention when I got all my strength to push and he was out after an hour

Had a epiostomy and a few stitches but nothing else xxx
Baby is here finally and I have to stay in until tomorrow
Pleased to announce dad was there and present and useful and has been since

Congratulations he is so gorgeous!!

Your labour was soo much like mine haha. I got to 5cm too and then had epidural and sitting still was the worst bit haha. It's the drip I think. They told me it can be more intense with it because your body isnt producing all the natural pain relievers as it hasn't started rhe hormonal process itself lol.
It's so worth it though isn't it! And you will forget the pain I promise haha I think I've already forgot quite how bad it was.

Glad dad is there and helping out
