So today I am more than likely going to have I feed the baby in public.

Luckily it will be at a baby group so I shouldn't have to worry about judgemental folk but I'm a bit apprehensive all the same.

I'm probably being silly but it's chewing me up a bit!

There's quite a few breast feeding Mums at the play group I go to, they just get on with it and nobody bats an eye lid. Once you've done it the first time maybe it'll put you at ease for next time.

yeah just take the plunge hun, noone looks at you funny

I know how you feel although I managed it last week. However was out for lunch with girls from NCT group so felt better as was surrounded by other mummies

We may Have to do it today as I'm off shopping with my mum. Not sure how it'll go as Harry is such a wriggle bum and do heavy I struggle to gracefully get my boob out and get him latched on!!

Tor did you manage it today?

Am proud to say I managed to breast feed Harry in debenhams cafe and then in marks and spencer (sat in the chairs they always have in the refunds/ ordering area while my mum queued up)

Actually really proud of myself that I did it. Found it best to just get on with it and I figure the more I do it early on in Harry's life the less bothered I'll be about it

Xx

yeah how did you get on hun?

Well done Becky!! I don't think im brave enough to do it outside properly just yet but I did manage at the baby group, no one batted an eyelid.

I just decided that the sooner I did it the less I'd get worried about it...-although I did find a seat in the corner of the cafe!!

That's the way to do it. As much as I am proud of bfing It doesn't mean I want the world to see my baps!

Tbh now I've done it I know the next time I'll be less worried about it so I won't build it up into something big

Glad you feel more comfortable.

I still feel I need more clothes or scarves to cover me up tbh. I'll get there in the end I'm sure.

They do oversized scarfs in primark, some are a bit see through but not very. I like them cos I can wear them and then just arrange them differently when it's feeding time. I'm loving not having to have a big bottle bag I don't wanna ruin it carrying a cover around really.
