********February 2019 mummies*********

Ahh your very similar to me then; I was 6 weeks yesterday according to dates but I think I ovulated a bit later so probably 6 weeks later this week - although I could be wrong as I got my BFP (faintly) 5 days before AF was due according to when I think I ovulated. No telling until scan day though is there.

Looking forward to hearing how your scan goes. I'm counting down to my booking in appointment; 2 weeks yesterday - time is dragging though

Mystery, looking good!

Donna, I know, the first trimester takes soooooo long!

Bubbles, good luck, can't wait to hear how the scan goes!

Sleepyhead, I am mostly ok, but days like today when I'm exhausted it's such a struggle. My 6-year-old is no work/trouble at all really, but my 3-year-old (very high-energy boy) and 21-month-old toddler are sooooo much work. Honestly the biggest amount of work is keeping up with the whirlwind of clutter and food and toys on the floor, dirty dishes clothes everywhere, telling them 1,000 times a minute to clean up after themselves... I really just want to lie down today but no chance! And my husband works until 2am!

Plus we are going camping tomorrow for 2 nights... we booked this trip before I got pregnant. I'm tired but really looking forward to it, it'll be the first camping trip we've done. It's getting everything together for 5 people/sleeping in a tent/eating outside and cooking at a fire pit that's really overwhelming me!

Tested again today looks good so I guess it was implantation lol been no bleeding since so I feel better, oh and I threw up for the first time this morning so I guess things are progressing

Wonderful news!! I'm so glad that is all it was <3

How exciting is it? I had a private one booked in two weeks but I have cancelled kt now, with having this one at the hospital. Will keep you all updated 🤗

It is very exciting - but very worrying as well. So many emotions. I'll feel better when Ive had a scan and confirmed everything's okay. We'll be waiting for the 12 week one though I just really hope we have it earlier rather than later though as we go on a cruise around the 12 week mark

The wait in the beginning is soooooo hard. Every time I start to get really excited, the other part of my mind steps in and reminds me not to get carried away... but I have been watching birth videos already, I can’t help it, I want this baby so badly <3

Yeah, I do have the odd little worry, but try my best not too. Its so hard though! My discharge has gone this morning. Wiped and nothing! But had tummy pains (so woke myself up to go, sorry if tmi) Oh no, if i was in your situation Id pay for a private one if your hopspital one falls on the holiday date! Where are you going? ❤️

So hard isnt it Kholl? This is my first and all I keep looking at is stuff to buy! 😂

I've talked about that option with my husband; not sure if we will or not but hopefully it won't come up and we'll have the scan before anyway. Just going to wait and see when the appointment comes through to be fair; if it falls while we're away obviously we'll have to call to rearrange anyway

Glad your discharge has stopped.

Isn't that the truth!! I feel like the days are just dragging! I really can't wait to tell more people, have my first OB appointment, my first ultrasound, the gender reveal, etc. I already have my baby registry all organized!! haha

I think it’s ok to do that stuff now. At 5 weeks or 30 weeks, they’re our babies and we love them with all our hearts. They’re just as with us now as they will be when they’re in our arms.

I leave to go camping and will check in when I get back in a couple days!

I can't believe I'm only 6 weeks - it seems like ages ago we found out. Oh well it will be the summer holidays before we know it.

I know, I can’t believe I only found out just over 3 weeks ago, the first trimester is a good solid year long!

Also my nausea at 7+2 has seriously kicked in. I hope time in the fresh air and nature will help cause this is no joke!!!

Sorry I'm quiet ladies. I'm just having a hard time. Pure exhaustion, nausea and vomiting plus looking after my 3 kids while husband working away is not fun. I'm lucky though that my dad has been helping and my son who is 12 in a few days has been offering to help lots.
Hope everyone is well I'm just reading through the forum to catch up on everything xx

oh no!! Hang in there!! Nature and fresh air sounds amazing right about now.

I’m doing well so far lol flying home from the states in 6 days with hubby and baby girl so I’ll go to the dr for blood tests ect when I get home :) bought some prenatal vitamins today

Lynsey, I'm so sorry. The bout of nausea I had for a couple hours this morning gave me an entirely new respect for women who deal with this all the time. It's truly horrible. The fatigue too, it's debilitating. I get the fatigue at the end instead of at the beginning so at least I'm ok with that for now, and I'm so sorry you're dealing with it!

Mystery have a great trip home! Prenatal vitamins, yay!!!
