Where do you live Phillipa? Im 28 <3

Where do you live Phillipa? Im 28 <3

I'm in Basingstoke, Hampshire. Born and bred in Kingston, London but moved down here kinda by accident! Been in Hampshire for 5 years now :) Where are you based?

I'm 30

I've been struggling with the heat too, although finding it better now I'm off was much worse when I was at work. I am finding lots of things take it out of me though. I had an awful nights sleep on Friday night with heartburn, so Saturday I was passed out after just going to the shop, Sunday we went out for a little and again it was taken out of me. Today I went out with friends for lunch and then came back and went out shopping because we need some bits for the holiday. It's the first day I've managed to go out and do one thing and then go back out again for something else all week haha

Whats it like there? It must be lovely for you to stay! Im from Liverpool :)

Oh Donna, I feel for you! My sickness has moved to the evening which is making my day alot easier. But it really is so difficult. We will hopefully all strt feeling back to normal soon!

Oh Donna I relate in regards to the heat, I can just about manage day to day errands at the moment before I feel the need to lay down and nap! I'm off to brunch with some friends tomorrow but it's gonna be so hot, not sure how I'll cope lol.

Bubbles, Basingstoke is a good place for us, we have everything we need in a small town but we're only 45 minutes away from our local beaches etc. You always lived in Liverpool?

Sounds perfect Phillipa, sounds like a perfect little town to start a family. Yes, I have always lived in Liverpool

Hugs to all you ladies suffering, hopefully things will ease up for you soon. I'm 37, feeling the same pretty much as with my first....giant mumma boobs, and tiredness that really hits me late afternoon/evening.

 that is pretty accurate!!!

Aww I had been away from the forum for a few days tmdue to super busy days at wor’ And in our crazy house undergoing quite a lot of improvements with silly builders all over the place !

I think the heat is my worse enemy at the moment ! On top of feeling sick, it makes me feel so faint... and where I work it is around 29-30 degrees INDOORS and all they do is risk assess and tell me to take a break...
what I really want is an37.5 hours a week break hahaha.

I love summer but due to the mini grape sized growing inside here, I can’t wait for the cooler days this time !!

It’s so nice to see some pictures of your bulosngirls! I was starting to wonder if I was imagining mine or if I was just bloated ! I’ll try and post a picture soon and when food isn’t involved in the belly’s size!!!

I just got a phone call from scan department. Got my scan next Wednesday. Was not expecting it that quickly!! I'm excited with the obvious nerves. Once we have the scan, providing everything is ok, we can finally tell people. Mixed feelings ahhhh!!!! Now to find someone to watch other kids while we go.

The heat is intense here too.

greenflowers, so exciting, can't wait to hear how it goes!

So I told a friend (we've been friends almost 10 years) that I'm pregnant... and her response was "Holy sh*t girl. You gotta start keeping your legs crossed." So... I honestly don't think I can get past that. Just trying to figure out how to reply to her before I block her number. I really don't see how I could continue the friendship after this. It's been hugely upsetting honestly, though my husband is not surprised by what she said. He's known her a long time too.

Oh no what a horrible thing to say. To be honest I was expecting similar comments and I have had a few saying you must be mad but what your friend said was very insensitive!!

I'm just back from the hospital. Had my 12 week scan and measured exact for dates so my official due date is 5th Feb. Everything else was fine and I'm midwife led care. Got another 4 weeks now before I see the midwife again and I have my 20 week scan booked for September. All feeling so real now.

Kholl sorry to hear about your "friend", what a nasty comment! I personally wouldn't talk to her again after that until she apologises.

Lynsey, oooh so exciting for you! Glad to hear your scan went well and you have now seen your little bub :)

Today I am in a crap mood, could be weather related, could just be waking up on the wrong side of the bed, but I've turned 29 today and will be celebrating it tomorrow with a bbq and games night with a small group of friends.

I have my first scan on Thursday! Can not wait but I'm also very nervous, I just want everything to be OK with this pregnancy and I want to see my tiny person, healthy and heart beating.

Thanks ladies <3

Lynsey, awww look at that sweet little baby! Beautiful!

Phillipa, happy birthday! The crap moods are par for the course I think, especially with upcoming scans and the anxiety that those bring, for me it was a thousand times worse after my loss, too. I know all will be well with your sweet baby.

Thanks Kholl :)

I think my hormones have made my emotions go crazy too, I seem to be fine one minute, then ready to throw something across the room the next! I'm all over the bloody place at the moment and it is driving me nuts.

How are you doing today Kholl?

What a ridiculous thing for her to say, what's wrong with some people.

Lynsey that's a beautiful scan picture.

Phillipa I'm sure everything will be fine with your baby, happy birthday, your celebrations sound lovely.

So I’m officially not pregnant anymore, had a d&c a couple of days ago so I guess I’ll get back on the horse and join a July or August testing thread, good luck ladies and happy pregnancy to you all

Oh Mystery I hope you are feeling ok, and that you heal quickly. I can't wait to see you back here in Tri 1 again. Sending hugs.
