****February 2019 Mamas****

My baby clothes have all been washed; I need to go through and iron them and pack her hospital bag.

I had the worse nights sleep last night. I just couldn't get comfy for the life of me :(

My baby clothes are all now washed, ironed, folded and away! My husband nearly fainted when I walked in and I was actually ironing! I pointed out it wouldn’t be happening again so not to get used to it!!

Sleep for me is now getting more difficult, seem to be awake every hour and really thirsty and then need a wee. Is so frustrating and I’m so tired all the time that I am doing and saying really stupid things!! xx

I've ironed the bits that are going in her hospital bag so that is now packed minus a couple of bits. I have them all in now though it's just actually collecting them together and popping them in the bag. Same with mine; I just need to dig out a spare charger and some snack bits for me and a blanket and I want to say something else for her. I packed her two going home outfits in the end; one is packed because it's tiny and we're not sure if she'll fit in it for long; the other one is packed just in case the tiny one doesn't fit even when she's first born. I have a feeling she's not going to be a tiny baby.

Haven't packed a bag for my son yet; but might do that when we have more of an idea what is going on. Baby still hasn't moved so I have a feeling it's going to be a section. She's not moving position at all - she's consistently in the same place. She was sticking her elbow or hand out earlier, I couldn't work out exactly what it was haha but it was head end so not a foot haha.

We've decided not to go out today, will save some money and I might go up and iron all of babies things and get them put away. Then at least it's done. Husband had said about not ironing stuff until we need them but I've explained really once she's here we're not going to want to be ironing every morning before getting her ready.

Hope everyone is well !

I'm figuring out resizing images! Hopefully I've posted a pic of tiny Daisy for you whilst in hospital. It might get help get you ready haha xxx

Aw puglover, she's beautiful! Bet you're over the moon to have her with you now. Xx

She is gorgeous. I love her name too :)

It feels like it'll be ages until I get to meet my little one and that's even if we're looking at around the 6th Feb for a c-section. If it's longer than that because I may go overdue then I don't know how I'll cope... Although I know it's really not that long at all. 4 - 7 weeks is nothing really.

Ooh once you've figured out how to resize images let me know as I think that's why I've struggled posting bump pictures in the past. Although not tried since they changed the forum so I may be okay.

Thanks ladies.

Please enjoy every moment of pregnancy and being looked after, as I'm now missing it so much and all the things you get away with! I know its my last baby too so thats why I think. The hormones have got me real bad haha. I'm missing the bump, and being in the hospital, and in tears a lot...but it's all normal lol.

Donna I searched resize image for forum, and used the top result website. It was easy.

Omg sweet little Daisy!!! She is soooo adorable! How is she at home, Puglover? Do you have family or other support around?

Donna, I know what you mean - I am in that same strange headspace of feeling like I have SO much time before baby gets here, but also knowing how soon it is. I have started scheduling things for each week that I can be excited about. One of my best friends just found out on Christmas Eve that she's expecting her second, so we are going to fit in as many prenatal yoga classes together as we can. Those are every Thursday, and now I also have weekly midwife appointments, so I do feel like if I can keep my schedule full it'll help me not go insane when I go a million days overdue again. I hope.

Thanks puglover I'll give that a go in a minute.

Yes it's all completely normal; although make sure you talk about how you feel as well as if you bottle it up then that's when problems can start as well. Sorry; you've probably mentioned before but it's hard keeping up, how many kids do you have now?

Yeah it's a weird place to be isn't it.

My little one has been so active today, I even got on and made her a blanket. It's far from perfect but I decided to get over my fear of starting making it as I'd be far better off making it and ruining it than just having all the bits upstairs ready to go but never touching them. Even if it doesn't last long; at least I know I made her it to start with and then hopefully I'll be able to make her a better one anyway :)

Haha I also do that where I count down with things like appointments or plans with other people. It's a great way of keeping sane when you want time to pass quickly.

I found the 5 weeks I went to antenatal classes went so quickly because the classes became a bit of a marker in the week.

Here's the blanket (let's see if the image resizing worked

Kholl - Daisy is doing fab. She mostly sleeps and we love having skin to skin cuddles! I am breastfeeding her every hour or so and more through the night, so with that and lots of nappy changes, I am not sleeping much. I have a nasty headache from it, but making sure i drink lots.

Donna - I have 2 boys, 7 and 12 who are in love with her, and enjoy cuddles. It is super helpful having them around, but I also can't have as much time for them at the moment, but Daddy takes care of that.

Awww - that's so sweet that they're helping. I'm hoping my little boy will be the same. Hopefully she'll settle into feeding a little less often soon and you'll be able to get some much needed sleep.

Congratulations puglover, amazing news!!! She's gorgeous!

My sleep is so ridiculous at the moment, I'm thinking I will actually be getting more once the baby arrives....if it's not needing a wee, it's trying to turn over and get comfy! I feel like a blimmin whale, and I still have 6 weeks to go....a couple of weeks early would be a welcome surprise!

I'm the same Gemsy, no idea how I'm going to cope if I go to my due date and over. I might have upto another 5 and a half weeks to go! That just seems mental to me. Husband seemed to be taking up loads of room in the bed last night but I think it's just me actually needing more space.

Although actually 5 and a half weeks when I say it sounds crazy soon as well... Maybe I should focus on that.
