It's so nice to talk to expel who actually understand i know it's my wife preg but being another women we talk about everything and she reads ur posts with me u are a life line for us both xxx
 
Ah, so much love in here tonight!

I'm just getting to bed...I hope it's less painful tonight. Last night I was dreaming of my sciatica pain, crying. Had to turn on my back which is only position it didn't really hurt but then I worried about bubs...done done reading up on sleep positions tho and seems back is ok, just not ideal.

There was lots of lovin' last night but I agree with this website being a lifesaver! Good place to have a rant :) :)

I often lie on my back when I sleep OMGbabyno3, I know they advise you not too on the internet but I think it must just be lying flat on your back that's not good. I always see baby move when I'm on my back and my tummy goes all hard so I like to do it :)

So I've just found out that my midwife is a diamond!!

Haven't put much on here but not been well these past few days. Really hard and fast heart palpitations, headache and high temperature. On Monday My own Drs couldn't see me, my MW phone went to answer machine so I called MAU (as advised on her answe machine! They were awful and told me that I had no medical knowledge or background to read my own pulse and that I am not qualified to tell them that...: subsequently weren't interested! Queue me getting upset (I blame hormones) as she spoke to me like I was stupid and I tell you what in dreading going into labour if they are all like her!! In the end I went to a Drs local to work on the advise of our works health and safety advisor and they were fab!! Did an ECG where HB was 112 but regular and temperature of 38.1.... They then told me to go to a and e for blood tests. Now I thought this was a waste of resources so phoned my own gp and asked if they could just get me booked in for blood tests and they did so yesterday I went to a walk in blood clinic and got them taken (checking for infection and blood clots) but these take two days to come back!

I'm now panicking as can't find little man on Doppler and haven't felt him move for a couple of days... I know it's usual at this stage especially with anterior placenta but I wouldn't worry if it wasn't for what else has been going on!

So anyway my midwife has offered to come to my house tonight and check me and baby over including the Doppler!! I can't get over how lovely that is of her and is actually making me a little emotional at the thought lol

Awww MrsT, what a horrible few days! I personally think the doctors are a waste if time.

Try not to worry too much, worrying won't help little one. Nor your headache. That is really nice of your midwife to do that, she sounds like a caring one :) Make sure you let us know how you get on.

I hope you start to feel better soon, and start to relax a little more now you know the midwife will be with you tonight.

Aww MrsT it really does sound like you've been poorly. Big hugs hun I'm glad you got seen and that's so lovely of your midwife. Its things like that that make you realise the hard work and passion that most midwives have. Let us know how you get on, I bet baby is hiding in there xxx
 
She sounds like a lovely midwife, hope you are feeling better soon!

Has anyone phoned and asked for thier matb1 form early? Im not seeing my mw until the end of the month and my cut off for handing it in to work is a few days later so wanted to get it sorted sooner rather than leaving it until last minute incase theres any problems x

Oh Mrs T, what a hard few days you've had :( The MW sounds like an absolute star. I'm pleased she came round to see you.

Mrs Johnson, I don't think they can issue them before 24 weeks. I'll be getting mine at my 25 week appointment and will have a quick turnaround! I've already told work when I'll be leaving though!
