I make a mean sausage casserole with onions and red wine and loadsa garden herbs. I just kind of expereiment with it. Last one I made was the most awesome gravy Ive ever tasted, considering I didnt use any stock cubes or anything I was pretty proud of that. Its awesome with mashed potatoes Ive got a portion in the freezer for after baby is born. Proper comfort food for a cold september evening.
Right now Im making bolognaise with chunky veg in it and chili con carne, with chickpeas and kidney beans to bulk. My freezers getting very full, but on the plus side, theres a lot more room in the tupperware cupboard!
